The City of London has always emulated the heart and soul of British Christmas, with every building and market stall adorned with glistening lights and festive decoration.
But those icy evenings make London’s twilight charm slightly more difficult to appreciate especially when dining indoors away from the festive magic. Thankfully Coppa Club Tower Bridge has created the perfect solution, with their Thames-side giant igloos.
Eight giant igloos have been installed on Coppa Club’s terrace for a dining experience like no other allowing customers to eat, drink and enjoy the outdoors without freezing solid.
Each igloo is fully heated and complete with sheepskin blankets and speakers so that you don’t miss out on any of the atmosphere. Each at three and a half metres wide, the igloos are plenty big enough for a small party. Something that Coppa Club had already anticipated, with their creation of a Christmas menu and special festive cocktails, including Sloe Gin Sling and Spiced Berry Caiprissima. All of which are available inside the igloos.
Made from clear PVC, the unique dining areas allow their occupants to observe the festivities of bustling London from the warmth of their private igloo, only inches from the Thames.
Iconic landmarks including Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast and the Tower of London can all be seen from the igloos, making it the perfect place to start your Christmas off on the right foot.
Three of the igloos feature round dining tables and seat groups of eight people; the other five are designed to be general lounges. Open until January, the igloos are becoming booked very early. However there is always still a chance to get in on the action (providing you’re quick), as Coppa Club set a certain amount aside everyday for guests on a first come first serve basis.
